Lawrence R. Klein Professor of Economics
Ríos-Rull is an influential scholar whose work is shaping the fields of macroeconomics as it informs discourse on economic policy in the U.S. and other high-income economies. His research builds quantitative macroeconomic models with heterogeneous households and applies them to questions about international capital flows, bankruptcy, asset prices, and demand-driven business cycle fluctuations. He is also concerned about the interrelations between demographics and macroeconomics.
