Community Partner

Paul Robeson High School is a public school, part of the Philadelphia School District.  Robeson is located in West Philadelphia, within walking distance of Penn.  The school has gained a strong reputation for providing students with rigorous, relevant and personalized educational experiences.

The collaboration of Everyday Neuroscience and the Robeson High School science team were awarded Penn’s Provost-Netter prize for Faculty-Community Partnerships:

Everyday Neuroscience works closely with Robeson’s Math-Science coordinator, Mr. Louis Lozzi.  In recognition of his dedication to  his students’ academic achievement, Mr. Lozzi was awarded the 2022 Citadel Heart of Learning Grand Prize.

The Netter Center for Community Partnerships is Penn’s core facility to foster beneficial relationships between the university and the local community.  The Netter Center has made this, and many other, ABCS courses possible through logistical support, fostering partnerships, and support of teaching assistants.
