Congratulations Kolb Fellows Sam Holzman and Patricia Kim at the Center for Hellenic Studies!

Fellows Sam Holzman (AAMW) and Patricia Eunji Kim (ARTH), graduates in 2019, have been named 2023–2024 Fellows in Hellenic Studies at the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington DC.

Sam Holzman is currently Assistant Professor of Art and Archaeology and the Stanley J. Seeger ’52 Center for Hellenic Studies at Princeton University. Sam accepted the tenure-track position and joined the faculty in July 2022. After graduating from Penn, Sam was a Jacob Hirsch Postdoctoral Fellow at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.

In 2022 after completing a three-year Provost’s Postdoctoral Fellowship at NYU, Patricia Eunji Kim accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Ancient Art and Culture in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University. Patricia was a 2022–2023 George Gurney Postdoctoral Fellow at the Smithsonian American Art Museum with the topic “Visible Ephemeralities: Race, Gender, and Classical Narrative in Twentieth-Century Art.”
