Research Interests:
Bronze Age Middle East and S. Central Asia, cultural heritage politics and archaeology, frontier identities and exchange, landscape archaeology, remote sensing and spatial analysis.

At the Penn Museum, Eric has been active within the Graduate Advisory Council, the Cultural Heritage Center, and as a graduate guide for various museum programming. He was a co-curator of the new Eastern Mediterranean Gallery (opened Nov. 2022) and currently works with the Center for the Analysis of Archaeological Materials (CAAM).
