Fellow Joanne Baron featured in Phi Beta Kappa’s “Behind the Key” newsletter

Fellow Joanne Baron, who graduated in 2013 from the Department of Anthropology, gives an interview in Phi Beta Kappa’s August newsletter.

Joanne is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Pre-Columbian Studies at Dumbarton Oaks, a Consulting Scholar at Penn Museum, and a Project Director of La Florida Archaeology Project, in the town of El Naranjo, Guatemala. Joanne’s research focuses on the political and economic relationships among the Classic Maya (250–900 CE).
