Gaia Zuccoli is an MA student in Near and Middle East Archaeology at the University of Pisa. She has taken part in some archaeological missions in the Middle East (Iraq and Sultanate of Oman); her main research interest is focused on social, economic, and trade connections between southern Mesopotamia and the Arabian Peninsula in the third and second millennia BCE.
