Dr. Paul Zimmerman is a field archaeologist and technologist with a 2008 PhD from the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Anthropology. He is a certified drone pilot and experienced surveyor who brings his computer, GIS, and mapmaking skills to the Lagash Archaeological Project. In addition to Lagash, he has conducted fieldwork on dozens of projects in Greater Mesopotamia, Arabia, and North America.
