Dr. Petra Creamer received her Ph.D. in the Spring of 2021 in the Art and Archaeology of the Mediterranean World program at Penn working on identities expressed through mortuary culture in the Assyrian Empire. She is involved with several projects in Iraq, using a combination of excavation, survey, and remote sensing to understand imperialism and landscape in the Bronze and Iron Ages.
