Joseph Valdez

Joe Valdez has an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia (2007) and is currently an Anthropology major at Penn. Since 2012, he has been a full-time instructional staff member in the Design and Prototype Lab in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Penn.  Prior to the Prototype Lab, Joe worked in the manufacturing industry for over 35 years, focusing on power generation, and steam and gas turbines for General Electric, the Philadelphia Shipyard and the Philadelphia Gear Corporation.
