Kathleen Ross, Ph.D., LCSW
Kathleen Ross, PhD, LCSW, is a psychoanalyst and clinical social worker in private practice in Center City, Philadelphia. She is a faculty member at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia, where she has served as chair of the Adult Psychoanalytic Curriculum Committee and has taught courses on transference and on the work of Hans Loewald. Dr Ross holds a PhD in Spanish and Latin American Literature from Yale University and worked in academia for many years, with research interests and publications focused on Colonial Latin America and on the theory and practice of literary translation, before becoming a full-time clinician. She has worked with several PSYS minors as a psychoanalytic mentor.
