Eric was recently awarded the 2023 Wilhelm Schlenk Lectureship Award at the Karl Eberhardt University of Tuebingen, sponsored by BASF, “In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of fundamental and sustainable 4f-element chemistry.” The award lecture was held on Thursday October 19. Several previous award winners were at the celebration including Prof. Kazushi Mashima, Prof. Warren Piers, and Prof. Sjoerd Harder, as well as Schlenk family members. Special thanks to Prof. Reiner Anwander and University of Tuebingen colleagues for their warm hospitality!
