Thank you to everyone who made RERC29 a rousing success!  The science, fellowship, and community celebrated at RERC29 in Philadelphia will not soon be forgotten!

The 29th RERC will be held in Philadelphia, PA. Philadelphia is on the east coast of the United States between New York city and Washington D.C. It is the sixth-most populous U.S. city. Philadelphia played a major role in the American Revolution and was the first capital of the United States. It was here that the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776 at the Second Continental Congress. Philadelphia’s Old City is the neighborhood known as America’s most historic square mile. The spirit of discovery and the Enlightenment that permeates the city will provide a fitting and dynamic setting for the vibrant fields of rare earths and actinide science.

We cordially invite you to experience exceptional f-element science in a stimulating setting at RERC29, Philadelphia!

The Rare Earth Research Conferences (RERCs, North America) alternate on a three-year cycle with the International Conference on f-Elements (Europe) and the International Conference on Rare Earths (rest of the world). The 29th Rare Earth Research Conference in Philadelphia follows the successful 26th RERC in Santa Fe, New Mexico (2011), the 27th RERC in Squaw Valley, Nevada (2014) and 28th RERC in Ames, IA (2017).
