Shihui Fan is a lecturer in Chinese at the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language at Heilongjiang University, China. She received her first Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Capital Normal University in Beijing, China and her second Master’s degree in Chinese Pedagogy from Brandeis University. Before coming to Penn, Shihui worked at Brandeis University as a Chinese lecturer from 2019 to 2020, and at the Beijing CET Intensive Chinese Program as a head teacher from 2016 to 2019. She has taught all levels of Chinese courses and is experienced in online teaching.
