Jiajia Wang graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Ph.D. in East Asian Studies in 2009. Before coming back to Penn, Jiajia worked for Middlebury College as the director of their study abroad program in Kunming, China, and then for Swarthmore College as a visiting assistant professor. Jiajia has taught all levels of Chinese and her teaching interest in recent years has focused on content-based instruction (CBI) for Chinese language students at the advanced level. Currently, Jiajia coordinates CHIN311/312 Advanced Chinese and CHIN381/382 Business Chinese at Penn.
