William W. Rhodes, C’1910, and Mr. & Mrs. Robert J. Thompson

The Rhodes-Thompson Chair was established in 1972 through the generosity of the late William W. Rhodes, C’1910 and Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Thompson. Rhodes and Thompson were close friends and business associates at the DuPont Company for more than 30 years. They chose to commemorate their long working relationship and advance the study of chemistry through this professorship.
