Brian-MechanickImpactED Fellow

Brian Mechanick is a full-time Masters of Public Administration graduate student at the Fels Institute of Government, graduating in August 2020. Brian, who was born and resides in Philadelphia, grew up in Lower Merion and is a graduate of Harriton High School and the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). Initially working in business strategy and consulting post-graduation, Brian switched fields to Democratic politics in 2016, where he has since worked on campaigns such as Hillary Clinton’s 2016 primary and general election run and now-Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon victory. In his free time, Brian enjoys rooting for the Sixers, Eagles, and Michigan Wolverines, live music, and exploring the Philadelphia restaurant scene.
