Daniel has spent his professional career working in education inside and outside the classroom. Most recently, he worked in the college access space, supporting students to define college paths. In his free time, he is an avid watcher of TV and film. He looks forward to making positive impacts within the Penn graduate community.

Program – International Master of Public Administration

 

Anqi is a graduate student pursuing an International Master of Public Administration at UPenn, building upon her undergraduate degree in Economics and Statistics from UC Davis. Before joining UPenn, she gained valuable experience through internships with NGOs, where she focused on issues of equity and social justice. Her enthusiasm also lies in policy analysis and economic research.

Beyond academics, Anqi has a deep passion for cats and dogs, cooking, hiking, and other outdoor activities. As a GAPSA representative, she aspires to foster close collaboration with her peers and facilitate connections among all students in the LPS community, bridging the gap with the broader graduate school. Xinyu graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from Xi‘an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.  During her undergraduate period, Xinyu has several internships in securities companies and Agricultural Development Bank of China. Xinyu is enthusiastic about being a GAPSA representative and acting as a liaison between GAPSA and LPSGov.

Daira Povez Gamboa is a full time Master of Public Administration student at Penn. She was born and raised in Lima, Peru; nevertheless, she spent the last 3 years studying her BSc in economics at the University of Warwick in the UK. There, she worked as a student ambassador and in several clubs/organisations focused on women professional development and international students. 
Daira enjoys traveling, watching soccer games, shopping, reading and writing, listening and dancing Latin American music. Also, she loves engaging in conversations about her country, Peru, travel destinations/recommendations and literature! If you know some Spanish, feel free to speak with her. Hearing some Spanish always makes her happy!
