Grants are provided to PhD and undergraduate students currently enrolled at Penn. Students enrolled in master's programs or on an exchange program will not be considered. Students should be advised by standing faculty in SBSI. Proposals from students being advised by non-standing faculty will be considered in rare circumstances. Specifically, the mentor must demonstrate involvement in SBSI and must not receive discretionary research funding in their employment role at Penn.
All proposals will be evaluated based on their relevance to SBSI and the mentor's involvement in SBSI.
To apply please submit a research proposal, budget, CV, and letter of recommendation. You should expect to hear back within 30 days. If you have not heard back after 30 days, please reach out to email@example.com.
