Ramanan Laxminarayan directs the Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy. He is also a Research Scholar and Lecturer at Princeton University. His research deals with the integration of epidemiological models of infectious diseases and drug resistance into the economic analysis of public health problems. He has worked to improve understanding of drug resistance as a problem of managing a shared global resource.
Itamar Megiddo
Itamar Megiddo is a research analyst at CDDEP. He received both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in economics from McGill University, where he worked on international environmental agreements. He currently works on individual based models in both fields of antibiotic resistance and malaria eradication.

Dr. Rahul Shidhaye completed his undergraduate medical education from Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, and his MD in Psychiatry from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. He received his Masters in Health Science (Mental Health) from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Baltimore, with a special focus in psychiatric epidemiology. He has 4 years of experience in psychiatry in practice, teaching, and research. He has participated in mental health awareness programs in the community and presented papers at state and national conferences. He is currently employed as a psychiatric epidemiologist with the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI). His main interests lie in the field Community Mental Health.
