As the RealArts@Penn intern for McSweeney’s, you will be working for McSweeney’s Quarterly and McSweeney’s Books. Responsibilities will vary, but you will almost certainly take part in the following during your internship: reading and rating submissions for the Quarterly and book divisions, fact-checking for nonfiction work, and assisting staff with research, proofreading, brainstorming, managing various aspects of the publishing process. You’ll have the opportunity to tailor your internship to your particular interests and to schedule one-on-one information sessions with staff members.

We ask that you’re able to dedicate at least 3 months to the internship and 4 days per week in the McSweeney’s office, at 849 Valencia Street in SF.
