RealArts@Penn Prize

How to Apply

NOTE: In the interest of student safety, we will only be considering RealArts@Penn Prize applications for remote internships at this time.

 Students should prepare:

  • a cover letter to RealArts@Penn, in which you make a convincing argument why a specific internship opportunity will help your career and specifically how being awarded a Prize will make it possible for you to take on the opportunity
  • a separate document identifying the organization, the internship role (including its description, work tasks and/or responsibilities, start and end dates, and number of hours per week)and/or documentation of an internship offer or appropriate correspondence
  • An ideal financial ask amount for the Prize to help you take on the opportunity; include a clear budgetary spreadsheet or chart with the related expenses, demonstrating how you arrived at this ask amount

Please contact R.J. Bernocco at bernocco@writing.upenn.edu for more information.
