What to expect
The RealArts@Penn internship, with Verve Music Group, is an immersive opportunity designed to identify and develop the next generation of music industry leaders. Throughout the internship program, we curate professional development and networking opportunities for our interns while celebrating the value they add to UMG as a company.
The RealArts@Penn intern will work with the Artist & Repertoire team at Verve Label Group. The A&R team is responsible for scouting, signing and recording artists.
During the internship you will:
- Create weekly playlists of unsigned artists for A&R department review
- Create one-sheets, pull & present data as requested
- Attend live events as requested by the department
- Assist the A&R department as needs arise relating to research and creation of assets
