Discentes is the undergraduate classical studies publication of the University of Pennsylvania. Discentes publishes work by undergraduates and graduates from all institutions and accepts submissions whose topics pertain to the fields of classical studies, ancient history, reception studies, archaeology, and beyond. Since its inception, our publication has consistently served as an outlet for myriad genres and media, including research papers, discussions and analyses of archaeological excavations, original translations of ancient Greek and Latin texts, and works of art.
